Comissão Vitivinícola Regional do Dão

The Comissão Vitivinícola Regional do Dão is the entity that controls the origin, guarantees the authenticity and promotes wine products with Denomination of Origem Dão and Lafões and the Geographical Indication Terras do Dão, while representing the interests of the economic agents involved in the production and commercialization of wines and other products with DOC Dão.

The developments made for the CVR Dão have the purpose of boosting and enhancing the development of the region through tourism activities related to wine production. Following this need we developed an APP, available for Android and iOS, which allows easy access to all the regional farms, routes, news, events, experiences and points of interest.

Intuitive to use and with a modern design, the CVR do Dão APP allows users to explore the history of the region, read news and, in a few steps, book visits or schedule other types of wine experiences.

Institutional in nature, the aim is for the user to have easy navigation, geared towards the dissemination and preservation of the history and wine tourism heritage of the Dão region. It is the place of reference for local producers and events, where any interested oenophile can schedule their visits and activities, ensuring that the entities associated with the Wine Commission have a gateway to their products and experiences on the Dão wines website.

In addition, the site represents the entry point for the internal management of CVR do Dão, with all the brand's producers and affiliates. Integrating this data allows the Commission to automate its work processes, condensing all the information into its systems.
